Kubicle’s Learning Group dashboard had become a patchwork of quick fixes: outdated charts, non-systemised components, and slow interactions. Common administration tasks, like finding at-risk learners or comparing cohorts, required multiple clicks and too much effort.

From a UX perspective:

• No clear hierarchy; dense data overwhelmed users

• Key insights (like semester comparisons) were hidden or buried

• The layout didn’t match how admins actually worked

From a tech perspective:

• Incomplete React migration meant fragile, unscalable code

• Custom CSS and component duplication slowed dev velocity

• No design system—every update introduced visual debt
